I'd Bat For Lashes any day!

So I heard of Natasha Khan and her one women band, Bat for lashes, for the first time years ago in an article in Under the Radar Magazine( an excellent mag btw). I remember reading about her and being impressed before i even gave her a listen. I was dazzled by Kahn's creative process, and her intentions for her first album, Fur and Gold, which were to create a mystic realm of fairy tale creatures that mirror back to us the spectrum of human emotion and existence.
I was even more impressed to find that upon listening to the album that i had such high hopes for I wasn't the least bit disappointed. Fur and Gold struck me as a profound album that focused on duality. It has the feel of a modern day fable, and was definitely on serious blast in my itunes. My favorite track was "Priscilla", its simplicity and Kahn's fluttering and compelling voice were a couple that were hard to ignore in this track.

Kahn's latest Album, Two Suns doesn't disappoint either. In fact, i believe her to have gone above and beyond what she set out to accomplish in her first album. Two Suns is scheduled to come out April 4th and i know i know its supposed to be bad to listen to leaks .. but i couldn't help myself. Natasha is just sooo good at what she does. Here is a sample of the album. The title for this track is Daniel... it speaks for itself.

If you like what you hear keep bat for lashes in mind and buy the album on April 4th!
